Reading in the South.
Business Partnerships
Sorensen Financial Services has close arrangements with C S Uttley and
Son, a General Insurance Broker and a Chancery Law a National Trust and
Estate Planning practice. Through these two companies we are able to
provide access to the complete scope of financial services needs of our
8,000 clients including general insurance products, covering house, holiday,
car and all risk insurance along with estate, trust planning and corporate
wills.
Consultation without obligation
Arranging a consultation without obligation is simple. Our consultant
will meet with you to discuss your current arrangements. An initial meeting
is without cost or obligation. Once our consultant has reviewed your
situation we will meet again to make our recommendations and offer impartial
advice based on your particular requirements.
Service Commitment
We view the recommendation process as joint venture between you, as
client and ourselves as adviser. However we never loose sight of who
is the most important person in this partnership – you are, as it's your
future prosperity and finance. Our position in the partnership is to
help you understand the matters under consideration for you then to be
able to make an informed decision based on facts and then to keep you
up to date with progress. As we also view the relationship as long term
we may agree at an early stage a “shopping list” of desirable financial
products and complete these at future meetings.
Reviews
We tread a fine line between keeping in touch and pestering our clients.
Having made initial planning decisions we believe you will want to be
kept up to date. To this end client reviews become an important part
of the advice process. As your circumstances change so too could you
financial needs. We would normally suggest a brief meeting / telephone
conversation 3 months after receipt of the paper work. Thereafter an
annual meeting should be sufficient unless you require more frequent
contact.
The agenda for these meetings will vary dependent on the original products
recommended. A protection review could be a brief check that your current
needs have not altered, an investment review might include fund and company
performance whilst a pension review additionally could include a target
income assessment.
You will largely dictate the content of the meeting and also the timing
of the meeting.
However, we will always respond positively to any request for review
or for information in the most convenient, professional manner for all
concerned.
Cost
As independent financial advisers we will always offer you the choice
between paying a fee for our advice or allowing the commission generated
by the recommended product pay for our service. We will agree the fee
or advise you of the likely commission before proceeding.
